There’s a lot that’s been said about the speed and pacing of content and content releases, not all of it positive. I’m late to the party but, honestly, I don’t have too much stake in this game. I don’t raid, I don’t do Mythic+, and I’ve hardly been doing any content other than housing and professions (for crafting housing decor, of course).
I keep meaning to do other things, like run delves for the Great Vault, play Decor Duels for the vendor rewards, and see what the Abyss Anglers is all about. I did do some of the Void Assault stuff but I wasn’t terrifically enthused. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t very new or fun.
I suppose, really, that I fall into the argument of “it’s too much.” I’ve had that opinion before, and it’s even more true now I think. Last time, I did my best to try everything out, figure out what was fun and rewarding, and then focused on that. This time I’m not even trying out the new stuff (though, again, I keep meaning to), I’ve just ditched it for Housing and older expansion profession leveling on alts.
Although there are events and activities I want to try out from 12.0.5, 12.0.7 doesn’t have anything, really, that I’m interested in. The Egg Hatching event could be a draw for me, but there’s just not enough information right now to tell. It’s possible my thoughts on the pacing are influenced by my lack of interest in the upcoming patch. It’s just not even on my “to do list” radar right now.
That said, I do have an interest some of the 12.0.5 content so I should probably work on that before the new patch comes out and it’s more difficult to find groups and there are longer queues.
I hope all of you are enjoying whatever content you’re working on! I’ll let you know how it goes being a pile of books.
