Introduction
Welcome everyone to another week in World of Warcraft (Retail Edition)! As always, for more in depth information, there are numerous places to find information about the week’s events. I will only ever cover those events that may be relevant for solo, or solo-ish (those comfortable with using group finder), players. I do not include information about raiding, Mythic+, or any other high-level group content. Other sources of information on this material include: WoWhead, Blizzard Watch, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft website, Icy Veins, etc. Now that we’ve taken care of that disclaimer, hopefully some of you are still here so let’s move on.
**Please note that quests and events mentioned below are often located in the Adventure Guide as well. If you have trouble grinding a quest giver, I suggest checking your Guide.
World Boss
The World Boss this week is Activation Protocol: Kordac, the Dormant Protector in the Isle of Dorn.
Weekly Quests and Bonus Weeks
High Speaker Brinthe is once again asking players to bring her 100 Titan Disc Fragments, for the quest “Archives: Seeking History,” in return for a Pinnacle Cache and some gold.
This week’s Dungeon Rep Quest is for completing The Priory of the Sacred Flame.
Turbulent Timeways brings us Cataclysm Timewalking. Players can complete 5 Timewalking dungeons for the “A Shattered Path Through Time” quest, which rewards a Heroic (ilvl 610) piece of gear. It also provides the “Sign of the Destroyer” buff which increases Cata rep gain from combat and quests by 50%.
Special Events
Remember that Plunderstorm ends on Feb 25th.
The new Undermine(d) Content will be coming out on February 25th, with Season 2 starting on March 4th.
The month may be more than half over, but there is still time to work on the Traveler’s Log, if you’re interested in earning additional tenders. February has a lot (a lot, a lot) of items for sale this year.
PvP
The PvP Brawl is Shado-Pan Showdown, where players fight to be the first to defeat the other team’s boss in Tiger’s Peak Arena.
Sparks of War this week is located in The Ringing Deeps.
