Hello Everyone!  This is a bit of a housekeeping/administrative post.  Some of you may have noticed that I have some trouble consistently posting the This Week in WoW series.  Some weeks it is difficult for me to be able to get on WoW on either Tuesday or Wednesday and I try not to type up anything I haven’t verified in game for the week.  There are also some weeks, like this past week, where I don’t write a post at  all.

In truth, it’s difficult for me to write posts that are so repetitive.  I don’t copy and paste anything so I write about all of the repeated activities each week.  Yes, I could start copying and pasting but that seems dishonest somehow.  What I have decided to do instead is to change what and when I post about WoW activities.

Instead of one longer post each week, I’m planning to do a preview for the month ahead.  This preview will rely on the in-game calendar and will primarily be for the holidays, events, and bonus weeks.  It will also include activities that repeat each week, such as the Theater Troupe or the Hallowfall Fishing Derby.

It will not include anything not on the calendar, which means it will not talk about Weekly Quests, World Bosses, or anything else like that.  These weekly activities will be talked about in a much shorter post that should be out by Friday.  I will try to get these posts out as close to Tuesday reset as I can, but I definitely want them to come out in time for those who play on the weekends.

So for February, which feels like it’s half over already, there will be 4 posts total discussing the monthly and weekly events and activities.  One post will be the overarching monthly preview (even though it’s massively late at this point).  The other three posts will be for the smaller activities that change each week, one for each of the remaining three resets for this month.

So, look forward to at least two posts this week, and at least one post each week for the rest of this month.  March’s preview will likely be in the last week of February as well.  Hopefully these changes will make this blog a better reference point.
