January 2025 Traveler’s Log Activities Guide

Happy January and Happy 2025!!

January’s Trading Post has been open for 3 days now, and I’m finally getting around to posting about it.  This is a new type of post I want to have each month; one about the rewards and one about the activities to earn tenders.

This one is about the Traveler’s Log activities.  There are a few notes before we begin.  

First, these are activities that seem, to me, to be doable by a solo or solo-ish player.  As such, activities that are geared towards raiding and Mythic+ are not included, but dungeon activities that are not difficulty-specific are listed.

Also of note, my organization of these activities differs from the UI’s organization of them.  I find that the UI categories overlap too much for my taste, and that time-specific activities and categories get a bit lost for me.

Alright, on to the activities, with the time-sensitive ones first.  

World Quest Bonus Week (12/31-1/07) 

Complete 5 World Quests while in a party – 100 points

Complete 10 World Quests – 50  points

Anniversary Event (10/22-1/07)

Participate in Korrak’s Revenge 

Complete 5 Quests in a party under level 20

Complete Codex of Chromie 1 time – 50 points (5 times – 100 points)

Defeat 3 pet tamers at the Festival Grounds in Tanaris – 50 points (defeat 9 – 50 points)

Defeat 5 Anniversary World Bosses – 50 points (defeat 15 – 100 points)

Win a PvP Pet Battle with Lil’ Frostwing on your team – 50 points

Complete 3 Anniversary Quests – 20 points (Complete 10 – 80 points; Complete 20 – 100 points)

Complete 3 Secrets of Azeroth – 20 points (Complete 5 – 80 points)

Launch 10 Celebration Fireworks or Fireflights in Stormwind or Orgrimmar – 20 points

Listen to a Story – 20 points (Listen to 3 – 80 points)

Participate 4 Times in a Story – 20 points (10 times – 20 points; 20 times – 60 points)

Travel to 3 Locations Using the Portals near the photo booth – 20 points

/Cheer at Leeroy Jankins – 10 points

Cast 5 Votes at Fashion Frenzy – 10 points (10 votes – 40 points; 15 votes – 100 points)

Complete the “A Time to Reflect” Trivia Question – 10 points (Complete 4 times – 40 points)

Match 1 Mount at Mount Mania – 10 points (Match 5 – 40 points; Match 10 – 100 points)

Ring the Displaced Scarab Gong – 10 points

Classic Timewalking (10/22-1/07)

Complete 15 Quests in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms – 100 points

Defeat 3 Classic Master Pet Tamers – 100 points

Gather 50 herbs, ore, skins, or fish in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms – 100 points

Complete 1 Timewalking Dungeon – 25 points (Complete 5 – 100 points)

Darkmoon Faire (1/5-1/11)

“Balloon+Pony=Fun” Ride a Darkmoon Party around the island while holding a balloon – 50 points

Ride the carousel or roller coaster, then eat a corn-breaded sausage – 25 points

Mists of Pandaria Timewalking (1/7-1/14)

Complete 15 Quests in Pandaria – 100 points

Defeat 3 Pandaria Master Pet Tamers – 100 points

Gather 50 herbs, ore, skins, or fish in Pandaria – 100 points

Complete 1 MoP Timewalking Dungeon – 25 points (Complete 5 – 100 points)

Battleground Bonus Week (1/14-1/21)

Win an Epic Battlegound – 100 points

Complete the World Quest “Silithyst” – 50 points (Appears to be PvP-related)

Legion Timewalking (1/21-1/28)

Complete 15 Quests in the Broken Isles – 100 points

Defeat 3 Broken Isles Master Pet Tamers – 100 points

Gather 50 herbs, ore, skins, or fish in the Broken Isles – 100 points

Complete 1 Legion Timewalking Dungeon – 25 points (Complete 5 – 100 points)

Final Surge (1/25-1/31)

Complete 5 War Within Dungeons – 150  points

Complete 15 Quests – 150 points

Complete 15 World Quests – 150  points

Lunar Festival (1/28-2/11)

Collect an Elder’s Moonstone – 50 points (Collect 10 – 150 points)

Complete the Lunar Preservation Quest (speak to Myrael Lunarbloom in Moonglade to start the quest chain) – 50 points

Eat a Festival Dumpling and shoot a Festival Firecracker – 25 points

General Activities

Defeat 25 Dungeon Bosses – 100 points

Complete 15 Quests – 150 points

Complete 15 World Quests – 150 points

Win 15 Pet Battles – 200 points

Capture an Uncommon Rarity Pet in Khaz Algar – 50 points

Fulfill 10 Crafting Orders – 200 points

Earn 7500 Honor – 200 points

Win 5 Battlegrounds – 200 points

Complete 10 Quests – 100 points (Complete 25 – 100 points; Complete 50 – 100 points)

Complete the “Lingering Shadows” Questline – 100 points
