Where’s Your Focus?

With the Midnight Beta officially here, Legion Remix still ongoing, the WoW Anniversary Event up and running, and all the current expansion activities, where’s your focus?

Mine has largely been Legion Remix, which I am playing almost despite myself. I find that I am bored of the content, since Legion is where I generally level alts so it’s very familiar content, but that I have some fun mucking around in it. I’m mostly doing it for the collecting aspect, and, though I’m not thrilled about running through the questlines for the umpteenth time, I’m having fun just running around on different classes and speeding through Order Hall Campaigns I never completed in non-Remix. I was going to write a whole follow-up post about this, but ended up getting too bogged down by real life to do so in a timely manner.

While I’m never struggling too much with all there is to do in WoW at the moment, I am acutely aware that Early Access Housing arrives on December 2nd. I pre-ordered the Epic Edition of Midnight, mostly for the mounts and transmog, and didn’t realize until after that there was early access to housing included in the purchase. I have been looking forward to Housing so much and am even on the lookout for a good guild that’s geared towards Housing and Neighborhood Endeavors (if you know a good one, let me know).

I know it’s going to split my focus though, and that I may not have the time to really get started on the housing with Remix still going. I am still eager to level up professions and complete achievements and reputation grinds to collect housing items, but I think the bulk of it might have to wait until after Remix is over or until I collect what I want to collect from the event.

I anticipate posts leaning more heavily on housing in the future of this blog, which hopefully will be right up some readers’ alleys. I contemplated switching/rebranding to a Housing Site, but then I thought that it might be too limiting. I like the freedom of being able to write about what interests me or what I’m thinking with regards to WoW.

So with that bit of reflection out of the way, I’m going to go back to leveling my Demon Hunter Remix Alt. See you in the Broken Isles!
