Introduction
Welcome everyone to another week in World of Warcraft (Retail Edition)! As always, for more in depth information, there are numerous places to find information about the week’s events. I will only ever cover those events that may be relevant for solo, or solo-ish (those comfortable with using group finder), players. I do not include information about raiding, Mythic+, or any other high-level group content. Other sources of information on this material include: WoWhead, Blizzard Watch, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft website, Icy Veins, etc. Now that we’ve taken care of that disclaimer, hopefully some of you are still here so let’s move on.
**Please note that quests and events mentioned below are often located in the Adventure Guide as well. If you have trouble grinding a quest giver, I suggest checking your Guide.
World Boss
Season 2 brings two World Bosses per week. One of the World Bosses is the Aggregation of Horrors in the Ringing Deeps. There is also the new World Boss, The Gobfather, located in Undermine. Appropriately, this boss is very big on bombs, rockets, and other explosive devices.
Weekly Quests and Bonus Weeks
Our Dungeon Rep Quest for the week is the Cinderbrew Meadery. Please note that Undermine rep is one of the options you can choose for a reward.
This week is the War Within Dungeon Bonus Week. The associated quest has to do with completing Mythic dungeons, which I think is an interesting choice considering how many players probably don’t do mythics. I could be wrong though.
Faerin is offering the quest “Call of the World Soul,” which asks players to choose one of four options: Undermine World Quests, Khaz Algar World Quests, Awakening the Machine, and Dungeons. Please note that the dungeon choice asks players to complete any seasonal dungeon on normal difficulty or higher. I assume this means follower difficulty won’t count.
In Undermine players can pick the Side Gig Quest at Slam Central Station. Additional weekly quests can be picked up at the hotel. I will be honest and admit that I have yet to complete a weekly or daily loop in Undermine. I know there are various activities and I am late to the game, but I should finally be able to play through it this week and have more information in next week’s post.
Special Events
The Trial of Style event begins on the 20th and goes until reset on the 27th. Remember that Trial of Style means free transmog changes, if you’re into changing up your characters’ outfits.
PvP
The PvP Brawl for the week is Classic Ashran.
The Sparks of War quest this week is in the Ringing Deeps.
Misc.
Raid Story Mode is open for those who want to see the ending cinematic and story.
The Trading Post is still ongoing. For those who are still working on earning tenders for the month please note that this is the last reset of March
