Introduction
Welcome everyone to another week in World of Warcraft (Retail Edition)! As always, for more in depth information, there are numerous places to find information about the week’s events. I will only ever cover those events that may be relevant for solo, or solo-ish (those comfortable with using group finder), players. I do not include information about raiding, Mythic+, or any other high-level group content. Other sources of information on this material include: WoWhead, Blizzard Watch, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft website, Icy Veins, etc. Now that we’ve taken care of that disclaimer, hopefully some of you are still here so let’s move on.
**Please note that quests and events mentioned below are often located in the Adventure Guide as well. If you have trouble grinding a quest giver, I suggest checking your Guide.
World Boss
Season 2 brings two World Bosses per week. One of the World Bosses is Kordac, Activation Protocol on the Isle of Dorn. There is also the new World Boss, The Gobfather, located in Undermine. Appropriately, this boss is very big on bombs, rockets, and other explosive devices.
Weekly Quests and Bonus Weeks
Our Dungeon Rep Quest for the week is The Rookery. Please note that Undermine rep is one of the options you can choose for a reward.
The Delves Bonus Week gives us the “Sign of the Explorer” buff. This increases Delver’s Journey progress gains, companion experience gains, and Undercoin gains by 25%. Also available is the quest “A Call to Delves,” which rewards a Cache of Delver’s Spoils (ilvl 636 gear) for completing 5 Delves in Khaz Algar.
Brann is offering the quest “Delves: Worldwide Research,” which asks players to complete 3 Delves in The War Within in exchange for a Pinnacle Cache.
In Undermine players can pick the Side Gig Quest at Slam Central Station. Additional weekly quests can be picked up at the hotel.
Special Events
Since Season 2 is still somewhat new, I want to remind players to go see Brann who offers a quest to introduce Delvers to the new Season.
The microholiday Un’Goro Madness continues through Wednesday March 19th.
The Trial of Style event begins on the 20th and goes until reset on the 27th. Remember that Trial of Style means free transmog changes, if you’re into changing up your characters’ outfits.
PvP
The PvP Brawl for the week is Southshore vs. Tarren Mill.
The Sparks of War quest this week is in the Isle of Dorn.
Misc.
Raid Story Mode is open for those who want to see the ending cinematic and story.
The Trading Post is still ongoing for those who are still working on earning tenders for the month.
