Introduction
Welcome everyone to another week in World of Warcraft (Retail Edition)! As always, for more in depth information, there are numerous places to find information about the week’s events. I will only ever cover those events that may be relevant for solo, or solo-ish (those comfortable with using group finder), players. I do not include information about raiding, Mythic+, or any other high-level group content. Other sources of information on this material include: WoWhead, Blizzard Watch, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft website, Icy Veins, etc. Now that we’ve taken care of that disclaimer, hopefully some of you are still here so let’s move on.
**Please note that quests and events mentioned below are often located in the Adventure Guide as well. If you have trouble grinding a quest giver, I suggest checking your Guide.
World Boss
Season 2 brings two World Bosses per week. One of the World Bosses is Orta, the Broken Mountain in Azj-Kahet. There is also the new World Boss, The Gobfather, located in Undermine. Appropriately, this boss is very big on bombs, rockets, and other explosive devices.
Weekly Quests and Bonus Weeks
Our Dungeon Rep Quest for the week is Operations: Floodgate, in Undermine. Please note that Undermine rep is one of the options you can choose for a reward.
Pandaria Timewalking brings us the “Sign of the Mists” buff, which increases rep gains from combat and quests by 50%. It also brings us the quest “A Shrouded Path Through Time” which rewards a Cache of Undermine Treasures (ilvl 636 gear) for completing 5 Timewalking dungeons.
Brinthe is giving out a new Archives quest asking players to collect 100 titan disc fragments from dungeons, delves, rares, and treasures in Khaz Algar.
Faerin seems to still be offering the Call of the World Soul (Undermine Explorer, Forging a Pact, Delves, and World Bosses), but as these are the same choices from last week perhaps it simply shows up if you did complete it last week.
In Undermine players can pick the Side Gig Quest at Slam Central Station. Other weekly quests can be picked up at the hotel.
Special Events
Since Season 2 somewhat new, I want to remind players to go see Brann who offers a quest to introduce Delvers to the new Season.
Also, the microholiday Un’Goro Madness begins on March 17th and continues through Wednesday March 19th.
PvP
The PvP Brawl for the week is the Temple of Hotmogu.
Sparks of War quest this week is still in Undermine.
Misc.
Raid Story Mode starts on the 11th for those who want to see the ending cinematic and story.
The Trading Post is still ongoing for those who are still working on earning tenders for the month.
